We are going to be reviewing and recommending the best chilli sauces and chilli products available. At the moment most reviews are for British products, but we will be covering products from all corners of the globe. And to launch our new reviews page, we will give £30 of chilli sauce to one lucky winner win chilli sauce...

We came across this great project called "Elephant Pepper Sauce". In Africa, farmers were having to shoot elephants who were eating their crops. It was discovered that by planting chile pepper plants around their fields, the elephants kept a wide berth. The next logical step was to make the chilli pods into sauce, and Elephant Pepper Sauce was born visit website...

Following numerous requests, we have started to add a new feature to the database. Soon you will be able to see not only what the pepper looks like, but where you can get it. We hope to have links showing you where you can buy seeds for as many varieties as possible. Look out for the orange link with each variety example...

Since the Naga Morich, Trinidad Scorpion and 7 Pod pepper were 'discovered' a few years ago, there has been a steady rise in the number of new pepper names. From lemon and chocolate Jolokias, to the Trinidad Douglah. We have held off adding some of these beasts to the database, but as more and more people search for them we will be taking a detailed look and posting our findings here.
